CA ANZ upholds ethical standards in the accounting profession, offering rigorous education, accreditation, and support services. With declining university enrollment affecting the accounting talent pipeline, CA ANZ recognized the need to enhance its digital services to engage students and professionals alike.

The organization wanted to adapt to changing market conditions and meet its members’ evolving needs by improving digital experiences for its 136,000 members.

Integration Challenges

CA ANZ wanted to create personalized member experiences by delivering tailored products and support, and simplifying the skills migration assessment process. However, its existing point-to-point integration architecture didn’t support these ambitions.

The company’s IT team struggled to get a comprehensive view of data, and was bogged down with time-consuming maintenance and fixes. This prevented them from focusing on improvements that would deliver data-driven member experiences.

How Boomi Helped

CA ANZ replaced its point-to-point integrations with the Boomi Enterprise Platform, including Boomi APIs, API Management, and Boomi Flow. Boomi’s iPaaS allowed CA ANZ to connect 15 core systems, including Salesforce, Sitecore, NetSuite, and several other event and learning systems.

Atturra, an Australian advisory and IT solutions provider, assisted with specialist Boomi skills and capacity to deliver the solution. The project enabled CA ANZ to integrate its core business systems, build reusable and layered APIs, and design intuitive digital member experiences.

Results

CA ANZ enhanced its member portal with the Boomi Enterprise Platform, simplifying subscription renewals, search for information, and preferences management.

The company also simplified a previously tedious and paper-based skills assessment process for accountants who want to migrate to Australia or New Zealand. Now, CA ANZ can better manage the increasing number of applications with its digital processing solution.

Additionally, CA ANZ is using Boomi’s DataHub to manage product data and deliver tailored member content.
