Known as “Melbourne’s playground,” the City of Port Phillip serves 110,000 residents who expect dependable municipal services, from beaches and events to everyday functions like trash pickup. Integration Challenges
The city migrated to OneCouncil, a modern cloud-based ERP built for local governments, prioritizing business needs over technology to boost efficiency and community engagement. But without a unified way to connect the new ERP to critical third-party systems, many citizen-facing processes remained fragmented and manual, including:
- Health Manager, for food safety inspections and health compliance
- Optimo, for booking public spaces, venues, and events
- Goldcare, for managing aged care and disability services
