Unified Integration Platform Leader Anticipates FedRAMP Authority to Operate for the Federal Government
ROUND ROCK, Texas – March 19, 2019 – Dell Boomi™ (Boomi) announced that its authorization for the US Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is “In Process”, in partnership with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). When authorization is achieved, the Boomi Unified Platform will be available for federal agencies to use for quickly and seamlessly connecting cloud and on premise applications and data.
FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides standardized security assessment, authorization, and monitoring for cloud products and services. Its authorization process includes an in-depth examination of a solution’s data security and governance. As part of this program, Boomi will work with USAID to ensure continuous monitoring of all security controls.
“One of the biggest hurdles to overcome as Government Agencies are taking on their IT Modernization journey, is connecting mission-critical legacy applications with ones that reside on or soon will be migrated to the cloud,” said Chris McNabb, Chief Executive Officer, Boomi. “We have more than 8,200 customer organizations using Boomi to connect cloud and on premise applications and data. We are excited to see what our customers in the public sector will be able to take on using Boomi’s secure, compliant, scalable and user-friendly cloud integration platform.”
