We’re proud to announce that the newly released 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) positioned Boomi as a Leader. This is the 11th consecutive time Gartner has placed Boomi in the upper right quadrant.
Gartner positioned Boomi in the upper right quadrant based on our Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. We feel it’s incredibly humbling because Boomi is the only vendor recognized as a Leader in every Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS since the category’s inception.
We believe this Magic Quadrant further validates our mission of helping organizations achieve their digital transformation aspirations faster by connecting applications, APIs, data, AI agents, and people. The Boomi Enterprise Platform eliminates the digital fragmentation and excessive complexity that slows business operations. Some of the factors we believe contributed to this placement include:
- A drive for innovation exhibited by a steady stream of market-leading product advances and strategic acquisitions that have expanded and enriched our unified platform for intelligent integration and automation. This includes Boomi’s prominent leadership in orchestrating and managing agentic AI.
- A relentless focus on helping over 23,000 global customers of all sizes and across every industry stay ahead of the competition and achieve business outcomes that show quantifiable returns on investment.
- A dedication to the enterprise-grade security, performance, and reliability that businesses require while providing ease of use that empowers every user type to contribute their creativity.
That innovative spirit kicked into overdrive over the past year, precisely when businesses began moving faster to push their AI initiatives from pilots to production.
Boomi Agentstudio
We released the groundbreaking Boomi Agentstudio in early 2025. It’s a one-stop solution for procuring, creating, discovering, managing, and governing AI agents. As businesses rush to harness the efficiency of autonomous agents, they’re unprepared for the swarms of these digital assets that can independently accomplish tasks within their operations. How will you manage them? The end-to-end agent lifecycle management of Boomi Agentstudio allows you to orchestrate these powerful AI agents with a full suite of solutions.
- Agent Garden: A safe environment where you can oversee agents from design to testing to deployment by using natural language and executing AI-driven tasks.
- Agent Designer: Accelerate agent development by using pre-built, low-code templates to build and deploy them in a governed, responsible, and scalable manner.
- Agent Control Tower: Organizations gain complete visibility into agent activity across the business to enforce consistent agentic governance and regulatory compliance while identifying anomalies.
- Agent Marketplace: This central hub allows access to off-the-shelf, customizable agents from Boomi’s growing catalog and trusted partners.
API Management
We made a pair of API (application programming interface) acquisitions to give customers superior control, governance, and visibility into these essential digital components to provide greater usage and security. APIs are the means of exchange in a world where data is currency. They already served as the connective tissue of modern digital interactions. But now, APIs have grown even more critical because they are how agents communicate and deliver information.
Acquiring APIIDA’s federated API management business addresses the growing problem of API sprawl. As the API economy now fuels the emerging AI economy, this next-generation management solution governs all your APIs, no matter who created them. It ensures security, visibility, and value.
We bolstered our platform’s enterprise-grade scalability and security by acquiring the API management assets (the former Mashery product) from the Cloud Software Group (TIBCO). This gives Boomi customers access to an enterprise-class, high-performance API platform with near-infinite scalability.
Data Management
We expanded Boomi’s already robust data management capabilities by acquiring innovation leader Rivery to help customers move large volumes of data for analytics and AI use cases using ELT, ETL, and Change Data Capture (CDC) processes. The addition of Rivery’s technology — now Boomi Data Integration — enables Boomi to make it easier for customers to move massive amounts of data to wherever it’s needed, including data warehouses and data lakes like the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. Transformed data can also be sent back to business applications through reverse ETL, improving data quality across the enterprise.
It’s the perfect complement to the previously existing features of Boomi DataHub, which offers data synchronization and master data management throughout the business to establish a single source of truth for all their applications so that data is timely, accurate, and complete.
In addition, at Boomi World last week we announced the planned acquisition of Thru, Inc. This marks a strategic expansion of Boomi’s file-based integration capabilities.
What You Need to Know
Integration and automation are imperatives for business success. More than ever, the complexity and fragmentation of digital operations are overwhelming organizations. They need a connectivity layer to ensure consistency, visibility, speed, and efficiency throughout their sprawling digital architectures.
Gartner notes: “The demand for software integration has never been higher.” This is why Gartner discusses that “iPaaS remains the largest segment of the application and infrastructure middleware market.” It estimates that “the iPaaS market revenue exceeded $9 billion in 2024 and is forecast to grow rapidly and exceed $17 billion by 2028.” Businesses understand the critical need to solve fragmentation and tame complexity.
We believe digital transformation doesn’t have to be just a dream. Modernizing your business to incorporate the power of agentic AI is achievable with a platform that’s easy to use and still robust enough to meet the demands of today and the future.
