Platform Services forms the foundational core layer, centralizing key functionalities for a unified, efficient, and robust operational environment. It manages user identities, authentication, and authorization for secure access, facilitates data exchange within the platform and with external systems and implements robust security measures for data and systems
Platform Services also builds tools for tracking system performance, resource utilization and designs the platform to handle increasing workloads and data volumes without compromising performance. It also provides centralized management of system settings, parameters, and reliable notifications of critical information, alerts, and updates via email, etc.

- Secrets Manager for MCS. Continue to invest into security features to build secrets manager for MCS customers.

Check out the new Boomi Agentstudio section at the top of the homepage. From this brand new widget, you will be able to start chats with Boomi AI Agents, like BoomiGPT. You can also explore the features of Agentstudio, like exploring the templates for building a new agent or search through the 100 plus agents available today within the Boomi Agent Marketplace.
We also have added a “Let’s Get Started” section on the platform homepage for Agentstudio. This new section includes a walkthrough video on how Boomi Agentstudio works. You can also enter a prompt to start building an agent, try out templates, and explore our Agent Control Tower supported providers.

Embedded Experience
Boomi Embedded provides embedded iPaaS solutions that enable our customers to seamlessly deliver integrations as part of their native product experience. There are three primary ways to implement Boomi Embedded:
- Embedding Boomi via Platform APIs
- Embeddable UI with EmbedKit
- Sharing and managing pre-built integrations with Boomi Spaces, a marketplace shared with the embedded partner’s end customers
The roadmap is focused on four key areas of investment:
- We’re making significant investments in our API ecosystem to enable a truly first-class SDK experience so your teams can rapidly extend Boomi’s functionality to meet your unique needs.
- We’re building embeddable UI components, which we are referring to as EmbedKit. Our goal is to provide you with customizable building blocks that feel native to your application while delivering Boomi’s full integration, automation, and orchestration power.
- We’re enhancing and rebranding Boomi Spaces with a focus on addressing embeddability. This experience will offer the ability to create customizable self-service SaaS Marketplaces for your internal users and end customers.
- We’re expanding embedded capabilities across the Boomi Enterprise Platform. This includes enabling the sharing and embedding of assets such as AI agents. These additions will allow you to offer increasingly sophisticated capabilities to your end users.
The Embeddable UI with EmbedKit empowers you to deeply integrate essential functionality directly into your existing user interfaces, providing a cohesive and branded experience. You get:
- Integration Catalog. The ability to offer your users a catalog of available integrations and to configure and run them through embeddable UI components. These components facilitate effortless self-service configuration and execution, allowing users to connect with ease.
- Embeddable reporting components that empower end-users and administrators with clear, concise, and relevant data visualizations and analytics. This will enable better decision-making and a deeper understanding of performance and usage.

Recent Delivery Highlights
- Step Notes. Available as of the July release, Step Notes transforms how you add context to processes. They offer bite-sized, in-context annotations placed directly inside any step, supporting rich formatting and eliminating the need for separate documentation steps.
- Component Selection for Branch & Merge. This feature gives you greater control over merges by allowing you to include or exclude specific components during a review. This significantly enhances collaboration and conflict resolution by enabling partial merges.
- Revert and Delete Merge on UI. To improve safety and simplify cleanup, you can now easily revert and delete merges directly within the user interface.
- Modal Improvements. We’ve updated the Embedded Scripting, Parameter Value, Boomi Suggest and Process Options modals to make them more responsive and adaptable to your screen size, leading to a smoother user experience.
Up Next
- Global Variables (Early Access coming soon). This highly anticipated feature offers incredible flexibility for managing and consuming environment variables. It provides a modern way to manage “extensions” with a dedicated interface for better visibility and control — available for early access in the coming months!
- Structured Agent Step. Following on the recent release of the Agent Step, we will be working on enabling structured input/output support by adding JSON profile support to the step. This will allow users greater flexibility and predictability with how they interact with AI agents within their integration.

The B2B/EDI product team is dedicated to enhancing our existing standards and communication protocols. This ongoing effort will offer increased flexibility for new use cases and bolster current capabilities, simplifying the configuration of trading partners for custom standards.
Up Next
A new custom standard component for trading partners, featuring a rules-based configuration. This will enable swift configuration of XML-based EDI documents, offering increased flexibility to treat them as “standards” within the trading partner component.
This new component simplifies the identification of key identifiers for trading partners, enhances document tracking, and improves transaction visibility. These capabilities will evolve to offer more robust support for quickly onboarding various document formats. Ultimately, these changes will be integrated into the EDI dashboard, providing new options for users currently relying on custom trading partners.
Our team is also working to enhance trading partner connectivity by ensuring interoperability for connectors developed with our SDK. This will include the latest versions of SFTP, REST, and MFT, among others. This improvement will align our trading partner connectivity with our broader integration product, providing unmatched flexibility as your EDI connectivity requirements change.
Lastly, our AS2 capabilities are set to achieve AS2 interoperability certification for 2025. This certification is vital for safeguarding AS2 customers against potential disruptions from unexpected industry shifts.

For the second half of 2025, the Integration Runtime roadmap remains focused on three key themes necessary to enhance your ability to manage and respond to the growing demands of integrations and APIs: scalability, cluster persistence, and observability.
Recent Delivery Highlights
- OpenTelemetry is officially generally available! You can configure your runtimes to easily plug into 3rd party monitoring tools and stream real-time telemetry data such as logs, metrics, and end-to-end execution traces. This gives you unprecedented insights into runtime and process execution health, trends, anomalies, and troubleshooting. Support for cloud attachments, including attachments to Boomi hosted runtimes is planned to follow. Learn more.
- Elastic Executions is also officially generally available for private runtime clouds! This feature allows cloud owners to take advantage of native Kubernetes scaling to better enable variable workloads and optimize resource utilization and cost. Learn more.

- Listener workers will provide improved management of event-based integrations (for example, Boomi Event Streams, Kafka, Solace) in runtime clouds by supporting elastic scaling and cluster-wide controls for concurrent listeners.

Our Q4 Connector Roadmap continues to stay anchored in three guiding themes: connector depth, connector breadth, and connector enablement. These pillars drive how we evolve our ecosystem — by strengthening core capabilities, expanding coverage across applications, and ensuring developers can work faster and smarter.
Recent Delivery Highlights
Over the past quarter, we’ve introduced several meaningful enhancements across our connector portfolio. All updates are now available, and full details can be found in the release notes.
Connector Enhancements
- Kafka. Added support for transactional message delivery in the Produce operation, along with custom client properties in Produce, Consume, and Listen actions.
- Workday. Upgraded authentication with OAuth 2.0 support and introduced a test Connections feature for easier validation.
- Database v2. Extended data handling with CLOB data type and RefCursor support.

Additionally, we are planning to implement message batching functionality for producing messages in Event Streams. The Boomi API Management team is delivering on our themes of user experience, AI enablement, policy & security, federation & events, governance & analytics, and infrastructure & operations. Specifically, we’re making it easier to discover, design, build, productize, monitor, and consume APIs as tools in agentic workflows.
Recent Delivery Highlights
- API Federation. Our API federation capability has been expanded with support for APIs managed in Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid environments, enabling centralized discovery and management of even more of your API landscape.
- One-Click Control Plane to Integration. When leveraging our recently-delivered AI-driven API design capabilities in Control Plane, the resulting API can be sent to Boomi Integration with a single click. An API Service with input/output profiles and process stubs for every operation is created so an integration developer can simply wire up the API’s logic and connectivity.
- Control Plane / Agentstudio. APIs in the Control Plane are being exposed as native API tools in Agentstudio, so any API from any of our supported platforms can be brought into an agentic use case.
- MCP. To expand that ecosystem even further, API Products can be curated and selectively exposed via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It’s one click to create an MCP Server in front of any API Product, bridging the discovery and tool calls from Agentstudio or third party agents to REST API backends and automatically inserting the backend credentials.
- OpenTelemetry. For any APIs running on our API Gateway, we’ve introduced OpenTelemetry to collect and export telemetry data to improve observability and monitoring of API performance.

In a world increasingly driven by AI, ensuring your data is consistent and reliable is paramount. Our roadmap not only delivers powerful new data synchronization capabilities but also advances our long-term strategy of embedding robust metadata management across the Boomi Enterprise Platform — ensuring your data is discoverable, governed, and rich with business context.
Recent Delivery Highlights
Our recent work has enhanced the data discovery experience, added richer context to our connector operations, and delivered powerful new tools for advanced data stewardship. A key highlight is the new free-text search capability in Command Center, allowing users to instantly search across all fields in a golden record with advanced, flexible syntax. We’ve also added richer context to the DataHub Connector, simplifying integrations with options to include reference titles in queries and get diagnostic samples for ambiguous matches. Finally, we’ve delivered powerful new tools for advanced data stewardship, including a new API for resetting source agreements and more reliable, high-performance processing for large-scale data cleanup.

Our Enterprise roadmap is focused on delivering extreme performance, scale, and governance for your most critical data. We are actively improving Accelerated Entity Onboarding with source-specific match conditions that safeguard parallel processing and developing Outbound Delivery Events for early access integration with Boomi Event Streams topics. Looking ahead, our focus will shift to enabling secure change management through enhanced Repository Management Governance, which will provide stewardship entitlements and new options to protect sensitive production data. We will also be developing Repository Recovery to provide simplified backup and restore options. The roadmap culminates with advanced pipeline and security capabilities, including Bulk Synchronization Pipelines and Field Security Policies for intelligent, policy-based access control.
Our Management roadmap supports enhancing integrated data discovery by making Golden Record Profiling for full data sets extensible via API. A key focus is surfacing new business glossary management capabilities — the first major step in our platform-wide metadata strategy. Our focus then expands to empowering your data and business teams with new data quality task management and collaboration options. We’re pairing this with Guided Entity Resolution as part of core DataHub stewardship, introducing new workflows to simplify staging, merging, and analyzing entities in a centralized, collaborative, and intelligent experience. Boomi for SAP is now available as a native data source within Boomi Data Integration, making it easier than ever to bring SAP data into cloud warehouses and lakes alongside non-SAP data — fueling analytics, BI, and AI with speed and simplicity.
With real-time SAP event integration, low-code tools that cut development time and effort, and SAP-certified native access to any object, Boomi makes it easier and faster to unlock the full value of SAP data. Customers can harmonize data across their business for deeper insights, extract and transform data from ECC, S/4 HANA, and BW using Standard, Incremental, and CDC options (coming soon), while they scale confidently with enterprise-grade performance and security.
Shopify GraphQL Connector
We recently delivered the Shopify GraphQL connector, enabling faster and more flexible data access. This allows teams to load data directly into warehouses and lakes with greater efficiency — supporting advanced analytics and business insights with less friction.
Sydney-Based Data Integration
To empower our customers in Australia, we launched new sovereign, Sydney-based data integration capabilities. This ensures local businesses can harness the full value of their data while meeting security, compliance, and data residency requirements.

Connect to Anywhere
We’re launching a Blueprints Marketplace that enables users to share and install AI-generated connector templates, accelerating connectivity to long-tail or custom data sources. Building on this foundation, we’re also developing an Autonomous Connector — an AI-powered, self-maintaining connector that can adapt to schema and API changes without manual updates.
We’re expanding our native connector library to include Iceberg, OneLake, SharePoint, Amazon Ads, and Adobe Feed and more, making it easier to bring data from critical business systems into your workflows.
We’re also advancing resilient database replication, with support for automated checkpointing and enhanced change data capture (CDC) performance, enabling high-volume, fault-tolerant data movement at scale.
Lastly, we’re introducing foundational support for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) use cases, including enabling Boomi Agentstudio’s Knowledge Base, support for VectorDB as a target, and orchestration of RAG processes directly within Data Integration.
Developer Experience
To elevate the developer experience, we’re evolving Data Integration into a fully API-centric service, providing end-to-end API coverage so teams can create, manage, and operate pipelines programmatically. In parallel, native Git integration will add robust version control and pull-request workflows, simplifying collaboration and ensuring clear ownership across data projects.
Management and Scale
