Integration
In Q3 the Integration product team continues to focus efforts around two key themes for us in 2024. Developer and ease of use, as well as lifecycle management.
Our efforts pertaining to the developer experience and ease of use recently culminated in our release of the new build canvas experience, which was recently released as the default experience for all users. This update, driven by candid user feedback, significantly enhances usability and sets the stage for additional improvements throughout the year.
Later in the quarter, we will further enhance the new build canvas UI, with features to better organize tabs and folders, alleviating pain points associated with managing large profiles. Beyond UI changes, we’re actively working on new functionality to lower barriers for deploying additional processes and connectors, thus increasing flexibility.
Also, this quarter we are targeting the general availability of our advanced versioning feature, which greatly improves team development via branch and merge. The rollout will start with early access customers, followed by a broader release to customers with Boomi editions Pro and above.
If lifecycle management is high on your radar, please stay tuned for future announcements regarding this exciting new capability.

Integration Runtime
The Integration Runtime roadmap remains focused on three key themes to help you effectively run and manage your ever-growing integration and API demands: scalability, cluster persistence, and observability.
Leading our scalability initiative is the Elastic Executions feature. This capability marks a significant evolution in our cloud runtime architecture, leveraging Kubernetes’ native auto-scaling and cluster management capabilities for improved dynamic scaling, reduced operational overhead, and optimized resource utilization. Initially, these enhancements will be available in Boomi’s hosted clouds, followed by a rollout for private cloud users. Comprehensive reference architectures, deployment guides, and Kubernetes Helm charts will also be provided to facilitate adoption for self-managed runtimes.
But moving data at scale is just one piece of the puzzle. Managing and monitoring that data at scale is equally critical. To address this, we’re introducing streamlined integration with third-party application monitoring tools. By embracing the standard Open Telemetry protocol, you’ll be able to easily stream events, metrics, logs, and traces into popular tools like New Relic, Data Dog, Splunk, and more to better troubleshoot issues and manage the health of your runtimes.
Recent Delivery Highlights
We’ve launched additional Boomi-hosted shared cloud options for customers looking for a zero-footprint, cloud-based runtime managed by Boomi. These new tiers provide higher limits and increased flexibility so you can run more data while still leveraging a cost-effective, multi-tenant runtime environment managed by Boomi. If you’re looking to upgrade from your current Boomi cloud deployment or even move integrations from a self-hosted runtime, check out the new shared cloud options to see if they’re right for you.
