Data Hub

Geoff Bockelmann

Our mission with Boomi Data Hub remains centered on delivering a foundation of trusted, AI-ready data at scale. In Q1 2026, we evolved our focus toward universal data synchronization – ensuring your enterprise data is not only consistent across applications but also carries the rich business context required to power the next generation of AI agents.

By moving from manual remediation to “Management by Exception,” we are empowering both technical teams and business stewards to govern data with more speed and less friction.

Recently Delivery Highlights

This past quarter, we focused on hardening our global infrastructure and bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Global Scale & Data Integrity: We enabled 4-byte UTF8 support across Canada and ANZ clouds, unlocking complex international character sets critical for matching precision in global deployments. We also hardened collection operations to ensure reference values remain consistent during high-volume bulk updates – eliminating a class of data integrity issues that surfaced during enterprise-scale synchronization.
  • Augmented Stewardship & Discovery: We fully integrated Command Center with SSO, removing login friction and dramatically increasing daily engagement from business stewards. Combined with new metadata-based filtering that lets stewards pinpoint problem records by source or origin in seconds instead of hours, we’re directly addressing the escalation backlogs that slow remediation cycles.
  • Meta Hub Business Glossary Service (Early Access): We launched the first component of Meta Hub into Early Access. Teams can now standardize business definitions and map cryptic technical metadata to clear business meaning – providing the essential semantic foundation for AI knowledge bases. Early customers are using this to eliminate the “what does this field actually mean?” tax that slows down every data project.

Up Next

Our roadmap is prioritized across four pillars designed to deliver speed, intelligence, and collaborative governance.

  • Event-Driven & Scaled Sync: Moving beyond batch processing to real-time propagation. Imagine streaming golden record changes to your RAG pipeline or AI agent as they happen, instead of waiting for overnight batch jobs. We’re delivering Golden Record Event Streaming and high-performance bulk sync designed for enterprise-scale AI workloads.
  • Augmented Stewardship: We’re eliminating the repetitive pattern-matching work that bogs down stewards today. Enhanced AI-driven confidence scoring will automatically flag high-certainty matches while surfacing only the ambiguous edge cases that need human judgment – letting your team focus on exceptions instead of duplicates.
  • Business-Led Data Quality: Command Center is evolving into a collaborative workspace where business stakeholders can own their domains. Saved Views create personalized dashboards for each steward’s area of responsibility, Model Diagramming visualizes cross-domain dependencies, and integrated Data Tasks turn quality issues into trackable remediation workflows, replacing emails and spreadsheets.
  • Intelligent Data Governance: Establishing end-to-end trust with automated data lineage and unified metadata tagging. You’ll see exactly where data originated, how it transformed, and where it’s consumed – providing complete operational transparency for compliance audits and AI explainability without manually documenting every integration.
