AnglicareSA
South Australian not-for-profit (NFP) organization reduces integration time by 30 percent, and personalizes services for its 62,500 constituents.
Business goals
AnglicareSA has provided housing, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services, Aboriginal services, aged care, foster care, emergency assistance, and financial counseling to South Australians for over 150 years. This involves managing and running diverse systems and applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
The company wanted to eliminate complexity from its technology operations by digitalizing and centralizing business critical data. The intent was to make information available to more than 2,300 employees and volunteers whenever they need it.
Integration Challenges
AnglicareSA relied on over a dozen technology systems to provide services – most of which couldn’t communicate with one another. This left the NFP with inconsistencies in information, making it difficult to understand its constituents and their unique needs.
AnglicareSA initially leveraged Microsoft Azure integration services, but found the point-to-point integrations difficult to maintain and support.
How Boomi Helped
Boomi’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS) helps AnglicareSA connect a diverse range of business-critical applications. This includes TechnologyOne enterprise resource planning (ERP), Salesforce Lumary, Rapid Global workforce management software, ELMO’s HR software, and Microsoft ActiveDirectory and SQL databases.
The platform’s low-code architecture reduced integration time by 30 percent, allowing AnglicareSA to scale its integration capabilities at speed, as more cloud applications enter the business. Projects that previously took over a month are now delivered within a week.
Results
AnglicareSA has gained the agility to quickly respond to requests from the business and employees. Its team doesn’t have to manually enter data or resolve complex integration issues.
Boomi has also generated significant cost savings for the organization as integration is now managed in-house, rather than outsourced. Now, the non-profit can focus its resources and efforts on further improving and customizing services for its 62,500 constituents across South Australia.
