Built for the Enterprise: Introducing Boomi Enterprise Connectors for Workday and ServiceNow

If you’re managing integrations at enterprise scale, you know the feeling: your business has grown, your data volumes have grown, and what you need from your integrations has grown too. You’re not just connecting systems anymore — you’re reading data at scale, managing files, running complex reports, and processing bulk updates across platforms. That’s exactly why we built Boomi Enterprise Connectors.

With the March 2026 release, Boomi launched Enterprise versions of two of our most widely used connectors: ServiceNow REST (Enterprise) and Workday (Enterprise). These aren’t just incremental updates, they’re purpose-built for the complexity, volume, and performance demands that large organizations deal with every day.

Why Enterprise Connectors?

As organizations grow, the requirements change. You’re no longer moving a handful of records, you’re syncing thousands. You’re not just reading data, you’re managing files, running complex reports, and processing bulk updates across systems. Enterprise Connectors give your integration teams the tools to handle these real enterprise workloads without workarounds, custom scripts, or performance headaches.

What’s New: ServiceNow REST (Enterprise)

For teams running high-volume ServiceNow environments, this connector changes what’s possible inside a Boomi process.

The biggest unlock is bulk operations. Instead of processing records one at a time, you can now create or update multiple records in a single request using ServiceNow’s Batch API. For teams dealing with large incident backlogs, mass updates, or time-sensitive data syncs, this alone is a game-changer.

Beyond that, the Enterprise connector adds full attachment management, upload, download, and delete files like logs, screenshots, and documents directly within your integration processes. This is a critical need for industries like healthcare and finance where documents are part of every incident or case workflow.

There’s also a new Import Set API that lets you push data directly into ServiceNow staging tables for transformation, making data migration and ETL-style processes much cleaner to build and maintain.

What’s New: Workday (Enterprise)

The Workday Enterprise connector is built for organizations that need deep, reliable access to HR and financial data, not just basic object lookups.

The headline feature is Report as a Service (RaaS): you can now consume Workday reports, both custom and system reports, directly as web services. No complex queries, no manual exports. The data you need, in the format you need it (XML, JSON, or CSV), flowing directly into your integrations.

For teams that need more surgical data access, the connector also introduces Advanced WQL (Workday Query Language) support, letting you run sophisticated searches across your entire Workday instance and get back exactly the records you’re looking for.

And for those long-running, large-scale jobs? The connector automatically handles pagination and token refresh, so a job that retrieves tens of thousands of records won’t fail mid-way through because a session expired.

What Happens to My Existing Integrations Using Standard Connectors?

Nothing changes for you if you’re currently using the Standard versions of these connectors. Your existing integrations will continue to run exactly as they do today. Standard connectors remain fully supported — they’ll continue to receive support, security updates, and bug fixes.

The Enterprise versions are available for customers who want access to advanced capabilities including:

  • Bulk record operations via ServiceNow’s Batch API.
  • Attachment management (upload, download, and delete) within integration processes.
  • Import Set API support for data migration and ETL workflows.
  • Report as a Service (RaaS) for consuming Workday reports as web services.
  • Advanced WQL for sophisticated queries across your Workday instance.
  • Automatic pagination and token refresh for long-running jobs.

If you’re not planning on taking advantage of these new capabilities, you don’t need to do anything.

Is This Right for You?

If any of these sound familiar, Enterprise Connectors are worth a conversation with your Boomi account team:

  • You’re processing high volumes of ServiceNow records and single-record operations are slowing you down
  • Your team manages attachments as part of incident or case workflows and is handling them manually today
  • You need to pull Workday reports programmatically for downstream analytics or reporting tools
  • Long-running Workday data jobs are failing or requiring manual intervention to complete

Get Started

ServiceNow REST (Enterprise) and Workday (Enterprise) are available now. We built these connectors because we heard from Enterprise customers that the standard versions, while solid, weren’t keeping up with the scale of what they needed to do. These connectors are available now — purpose-built for the scale and complexity your organization demands.
