A10 Networks — a growing and highly successful private application network company based in San Jose, California — set several goals for itself as it was getting ready for an IPO. First, A10 Networks needed to move away from QuickBooks to a more robust enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The company chose to switch to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials for ERP.

Second, because A10 Networks is a prolific user of Salesforce® for customer relationship management (CRM), it wanted to integrate the new ERP and its CRM systems in order to ensure the seamless flow and integration of data between these two systems.

An Oracle Solutions Architect at A10 Networks was initially responsible for the integration of Salesforce and Oracle EBS. After receiving recommendations from Oracle and a few of his former colleagues, the A10 Networks team looked at and ultimately chose Dell Boomi as A10’s cloud integration platform provider. A10 Networks appreciates the workflow-driven nature of Dell Boomi AtomSphere because it allows the company to quickly visualize what’s going on with its integrations. Other solutions A10 Networks considered didn’t have an easy way of doing this.

All of A10 Networks’ customer master data is now bi-directionally integrated between Salesforce and Oracle EBS, including price lists, customer contact information, product details, and order and quote information.
