Yet the front end is only part of the equation for retail success. As the Dell Boomi retail team confirmed at NetSuite’s SuiteWorld conference in Las Vegas last month, top retailers pay equal attention to back-end processes, from business-to-business (B2B) transactions to supply chain management.

Retailers running Oracle NetSuite have a sound enterprise resource planning (ERP) foundation for financial, inventory and order management. NetSuite also provides ecommerce, point-of-sale (POS) and customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities, but many retailers elect to use best-of-breed software for those functions.
