Boomi Extends Cloud Integration Market Lead With Record Growth, Key Wins, New Products

Company Adds More Than 200 Customers in 2009, Citing Accelerated Migration From Conventional Integration Products and Appliances to Its Cloud Integration Platform, AtomSphere

BERWYN, PA–(Marketwire – December 15, 2009) – Boomi®, the Integration Cloud Company™, added more than 200 customers in 2009, doubling its record growth in 2008. Boomi now provides integration solutions for more than 600 customers worldwide and maintains a partner network of more than 50 of the leading SaaS and Cloud application and service providers. In addition, the company has extended its innovation leadership with its Winter ’10 release of AtomSphere(SM), the fourth major product release this year.

Leading Innovation in 2009
Boomi recently secured key wins with leading brands such as Puma, Kodak, Siemens, Global Forex Trading, Electronic Arts and OpenTable. It has continued to rapidly expand its partner ecosystem, signing new OEM agreements with Taleo, Marketo, PivotLink, OpSource and Coupa. In addition, more than 25 independent system integrators are now building on the AtomSphere platform.

“Our business is growing rapidly and so is the number of applications that our customers want us to integrate with,” said Phil Fernandez, CEO of Marketo. “We chose Boomi for the simplicity of connecting once to AtomSphere and being able to immediately integrate with the entire Boomi network of applications. Now I can focus my valuable R&D resources on what we do best and leave the integration challenges to Boomi.”

In 2009, Boomi built on the success of AtomSphere, the industry’s first integration platform-as-a-service, utilizing the platform to launch a number of new products including the industry’s first fully self-service, cloud-based B2B/EDI solution and the industry’s first pre-built, multi-tenant integrations known as Boomi Widgets — both of which showcase the versatility and value of Boomi’s technology.

“We were able to easily integrate Salesforce with our financial accounting system,” said David Tomberlin, President of The Well Dressed Food Company. “The process was very user friendly, totally menu-driven, required no technical skills and was completely painless. Once configured, the Widget automatically syncs data between the applications on a user-defined schedule with no user intervention. Boomi widgets deliver exceptional value for the money.”

Driving Innovation in 2010
Today also marks the general availability of the company’s Winter ’10 release, which includes numerous scalability and performance enhancements, new functionality such as advanced tracking and audit capabilities and the industry’s first portable integration clouds—analogous to content distribution networks (CDNs) but applied to cloud integration. Application ISVs, system integrators and enterprises can now establish and brand their own multi-tenant integration clouds, moving processing to the edge of where the applications need to be integrated.

“Integration in the cloud gained rapid adoption in 2009 and we are proud to have led the way,” said Bob Moul, Boomi CEO. “We are seeing an accelerated pace of migration from conventional integration products and appliances to Boomi’s integration cloud. It’s a great testament to the power, ease of use and business value of true SaaS technology.”

In addition to customer and revenue growth, Boomi’s innovation and success were recognized through a number of awards in 2009. These included: the SIIA CODiE for Best On-Demand Platform, the AlwaysOn East 100, the AlwaysOn Global 250, the BOSS award from THINKStrategies and the JMP Securities Hot 100. Through its continued commitment to innovation and reputation for service excellence, Boomi has established itself as the brand of trust for integration in the SaaS and cloud computing industry.
