Leadership set two goals: build a unified integration platform to accelerate M&A onboarding and sharpen competitive advantage; then evolve that platform toward autonomy — eliminating manual intervention in employee provisioning and empowering the service desk to work independently.

SPIE’s acquisitions-driven growth created a fragmented IT landscape of ERP, HR, SHEQ, CRM, and ITSM systems. Connecting them — and extending integrations to external client platforms — was slow and complex.

As provisioning automation matured, a new bottleneck emerged: only the integration team had visibility across all seven systems, forcing them to field every status inquiry. Data quality issues and technical failures further disrupted workflows, putting Day One readiness at risk.
