What It Does
Boomi allows you to connect directly to frontier models with confidence, security, and data context – all underpinned by Boomi processes. Think of this standalone, decoupled product as “connectivity as a service.” It provides customers exactly what they need, with pre-built, plug-in connectors to platforms like Claude and OpenAI. Boomi manages the essential security and governance layer that safely prepares it for production by linking frontier AI models to over 1,000 enterprise tools through a managed MCP service with embedded authentication and metered execution.

The enterprise is going headless with AI becoming the new UI. Critical applications like Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, and Workday aren’t going anywhere. But the way people access that business logic and data is being opened by a different front door – AI. We know Boomi customers are very excited because we’re bundling skills and tools to help them supercharge their integration building, management, and governance. New developers won’t spend months learning the platform before they can contribute because best practices are applied from the first prompt. And experienced teams can automate repetitive configurations while the agent handles dependencies, deployment, and diagnosis. We’re lowering the barrier to Boomi development and accelerating time-to-value for IT professionals at every level of experience.
Distributed Agent Runtime
What It Does
Deploy agents and agentic workflows entirely on-premises, in the cloud, or hybrid. This enables the safe and compliant deployment of customer-owned AI models locally.
Why It Matters
This is exciting because we’re unshackling customers from the frontier model providers. They’ll have the choice if they want to use those models or orchestrate agents in our runtimes. Boomi Knowledge Hub
What It Does
This managed solution allows you to set up pipelines without code to power agents and RAG applications. It unifies enterprise data into a single, governed context layer for reliable search and retrieval for agents and people. Organizing, surfacing, and protecting the enterprise data gives agents what they need to reason and act accurately.
Why It Matters
AI agents are only as trustworthy as the knowledge they’re grounded in. This provides enterprises with a unified, governed foundation for structured data and unstructured content. We’re enabling customers to pull it all together, regardless of the source format. This includes PDFs, spreadsheets, PowerPoints, email, team communication tools, and video. Agents have the right context for outcomes you can trust, every time.
MCP Registry
What It Does
A unified aggregation layer for agent tooling that brings together Boomi-built MCP servers, third-party registries such as the Official MCP Registry, and other external vendor tools into one catalog. Administrators can curate approved tools from a single secure location, eliminating AI tool sprawl.
Why It Matters
If Boomi is the conductor in agentic orchestration, then MCP Registry serves as the sheet music. This centralized directory defines which instruments (tools) are available for agents to perform their parts. Agents can find and interact with the specific tools and data needed to function properly.
