Boomi AI
Boomi AI keeps expanding agent governance and builder capabilities in this release, with Anthropic-managed agents joining Agent Control Tower as a native provider, new export/import capabilities in Agent Garden API, and more agent lifecycle and governance improvements on the way. Boomi Orchestrate will be generally available on September 12, 2026. All internal employees, US customers, and US-based TPP partners will be enabled in this release.
What’s New – Boomi Orchestrate
- September Release
- Upgrade asset build with Companion Skills: Orchestrate now upgrades asset build capabilities with Companion Skills for Integration, DataHub, and Agentstudio
- Marketplace Integration in Orchestrate: Orchestrate can consume Marketplace bundles/recipes to generate solution graphs, match business intent with Marketplace recipes, present ranked preview suggestions, and hydrate installed recipes with account-scoped IDs upon installation.
- Asset synchronization: Orchestrate allows real-time synchronization between services and assets in the solution graph
- Manual edits: Users can manually add, delete, and connect solution graph nodes directly on the canvas rather than relying solely on chat prompts. Graph changes are passed to the LLM to update the solution summary and conversational context.
- UI and architecture updates: Unified AI summary generation rules across chat and Asset Sync paths using shared Jinja2 templates. Added region field support for EventStream assets. Solution assets are organized into clear, canonical architectural layers.
What’s New – Boomi Agentstudio (Garden and Control Tower)
What’s New – September Release
- Anthropic Claude Managed Agents, natively supported – Connect your Anthropic workspace to catalog Claude Managed Agents in Control Tower alongside Boomi Agent Garden, Amazon Bedrock, and Snowflake Cortex. Agent details, versions, models, instructions, tools, invocation counts, and token usage sync automatically as they change. (Not supported in UK Prod. Anomaly monitoring is not in this MVP.)
- Cross-user session logs for admins – In Control Tower, Platform Administrators and Agent Garden Administrators can now view any user’s unstructured agent session logs in Control Tower, not only their own.
- Agent Garden Design API, export and import – New /export and /import endpoints let you pull an agent’s full configuration as a ZIP and push a YAML config back in to restore or migrate it.
- MCP multi-remote support – When an MCP server offers more than one remote endpoint, you now choose which one to connect to.
- Create tools without leaving Agent Designer – A new Create New Tool option in the Available Tools drawer lets you build a missing tool in a separate tab and reload it back into Agent Designer.
- Conversation starters in the Test Panel – Clickable prompt pills let you test an agent’s capabilities without typing a prompt from scratch. Starters already added in the Profile section carry over automatically.
- Richer glossary associations – The Associations tab now shows agent title, mode, and model name pulled from Meta Hub, so you can see how your business glossary connects to your AI assets.
Coming soon – End of September & Off-cycle October Release
- Deploy Agents Anywhere, Bring Your Own Model (Early Access) – Run agents built in Agentstudio on Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google Gemini models on a self-hosted runtime in your own environment.
- Agents in Runtime, metrics and observability (Early Access) – Control Tower extends metadata sync, invocation metrics, and session-error reporting to agents running on self-hosted runtimes, not just Boomi-hosted Agent Garden.
- Custom Provider Elevation – Custom providers will be elevated to be shown alongside native providers such as Amazon, Salesforce, and Snowflake, and the word “Custom” will be removed. The onboarding process for any new provider will be more seamless and consistent.
- Auto-registration of Boomi agents – Agents built in Agent Garden register in Control Tower automatically, replacing the 30-minute polling sync with near real-time updates.

Boomi Connect is a library of pre-built MCP connectors that let AI agents access hundreds of apps and services without custom integration work. Every connector ships with security and governance built in, so agents get controlled, permissioned access instead of raw API calls. This release brings a wave of new connectors and targeted upgrades to existing ones. Coming soon is a new usage dashboard that shows exactly how your connectors are performing.
新機能
- We released 13 new connectors – SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, Smartsheet, BoldSign, Canny, Ping Identity, Bonusly, Teamwork, Zoom, Tumblr, Salesloft, and Epic Games along with a new family of MCP proxy connectors that expose hosted MCP tools for AI agents, including NetSuite MCP Proxy, Gong MCP Proxy, the early-access Boomi Integration MCP connector, and a generic basic-auth MCP proxy.
- We also made enhancements across several other connectors, including OAuth support for ServiceNow, OIDC authentication for NetSuite, a new NRQL query action for New Relic, new triggers for Monday.com and QuickBooks, new envelope actions for DocuSign, and reliability improvements across the Google connector family.
- Coming soon: connector usage dashboard. A usage dashboard that gives you visibility into exactly how your connectors are performing – which connectors and actions get called most, and who your top users are over a time range you choose.
Meta Hub
Your agents are only as good as what they know about your business. Boomi Meta Hub gives teams and AI agents the expert-endorsed business context they need to act with precision, by curating business glossaries and linking them to the technical assets they describe.
新機能
- Establish one universal business language. Build rich, document-style glossaries with AI Suggest, then put them through expert review so a definition carries a visible, agreed endorsement rather than an assumed one. Teams stop relitigating what a field means, and the answer holds across the organization.
- Ground your agents in business reality. Feed endorsed, proprietary definitions directly into agents built in Boomi Agentstudio, so they reason from your business rules instead of guessing from column names. The same definitions that govern your data now govern how your agents interpret it.
- Meaning that it travels with the asset. Link a published glossary to the Data Hub models and AI agents it describes, so anyone who encounters the asset also encounters what it means, without leaving the surface they are working in.
Universal Lineage – Early Access
Universal Lineage, shown as Data Lineage in the product, maps end-to-end data flows across the platform, so you can understand downstream consequences before you change a field or an integration and trace any value back to its source. It is entering limited Early Access, and we are working directly with participating customers on real dependency and change-impact scenarios. Join the Meta Hub Early Access program to take part.
Knowledge Hub
Boomi Knowledge Hub is a fully managed RAG solution that unifies enterprise knowledge into a single, governed context layer for reliable search and retrieval, used by both AI agents and people.
新機能
- Knowledge Hub – Early Access Launch – Knowledge Hub is now available in Early Access. It connects any source – structured data like Snowflake, NetSuite, Salesforce, and SAP, or unstructured content like SharePoint, Confluence, Amazon S3, and other data lakes – and handles the full RAG pipeline end-to-end: ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector storage, and retrieval. Everything runs through a governed context layer with built-in access controls, policies, and monitoring, and it integrates natively with Agentstudio, allowing agents to query the knowledge layer directly at runtime.
Want early access to Knowledge Hub? Sign up here or reach out to your Boomi contact to join the program.

API管理
This release focuses on delivering new and enhanced ways to discover, secure, manage, consume, and monitor APIs and MCP-enabled AI tools. This includes the creation of policy templates for assignment and reuse of API Gateway policies in the Gateway or Control Plane, enhancements to the MCP Registry, flexible API version management, bulk governance operations, and a richer consumer experience for testing out GraphQL endpoints. Cloud API Management Local Edition 6.3 has also been released, providing a host of enhancements.
新機能
- Policy templates enable users to group and order policy configurations into named, documented templates for easy re-use. These templates can be applied to new or existing APIs in the Gateway, and are discovered by the API Control Plane for assignment from there.
- The API Control Plane developer portal now supports interactive GraphQL browsing, testing, and consumption with a client embedded in the admin and developer portals.
- MCP Registry can now refresh servers for the latest tools and metadata, set the lifecycle status of a server, query multiple remote server endpoints, and sync server status to the official Anthropic registry.
- The API Gateway now supports outbound mTLS on API Proxies, completing end-to-end security and identity validation for external APIs.
- The API Gateway OpenTelemetry capability now supports per-API tracing, with advanced mode for additional diagnostic details.
- The API Control Plane now manages all deployed versions of an API across every environment, for maximum flexibility in publishing, testing, and consuming APIs in different lifecycle stages.
- API Control Plane now supports bulk actions – API tagging, activating, and deactivating, setting user roles and orgs, and validating API specs.
- Cloud API Management Local Edition 6.3 is now generally available, adding capabilities including:
- Support for Docker Swarm, migration from 5.x to 6.3, management of GraphQL endpoints, backend OAuth 2.0, and the circuit-breaker policy

The September 2026 release brings a new Runtime Selection option to the Agent Step, making it usable for developers whose agents live outside the account’s public cloud. Signups are also open for the upcoming Early Access launch of Boomi Workspaces, our new multi-workspace organizational model for enterprise teams.
新機能
- Runtime Selection in Agent Step: A new runtime selector lets developers select a runtime, including private clouds and on-prem runtimes, and browse the agents registered in the account. Agent Step can now be configured and used in an Integration process, even when the account has no public cloud, resolving the error that previously prevented this.
Boomi Workspaces is coming soon. Sign up for Early Access now to reserve your spot and be among the first to try multi-workspace organization and role-based access control for your Integration assets.
連携ランタイム
This release focuses on usability upgrades for the runtime, especially around observability and process reporting.
新機能
- Observability Distributed Tracing: OpenTelemetry traces now include inbound trace information sent by upstream systems, including from Boomi’s API Gateway. This allows you to correlate the web service executions in Boomi with the broader trace for greater context and debugging. This feature uses the standard transparent and tracestate HTTP headers for inbound web services executions. Outbound trace propagation from integrations to other services will be added in a future release.
- OpenTelemetry Infrastructure Metrics: New infrastructure-level OpenTelemetry metrics were added, including CPU usage, memory usage, and file descriptor count. This allows simpler system administration through a singular platform, rather than using multiple monitoring sources.
- New Process Reporting Filters: You can now filter process reporting data by runtime cluster node ID or by execution worker ID to facilitate investigation of process execution history. The fields are also split in the Extended Execution Information UI and can be queried using the ExecutionRecord API.
As part of the OpenTelemetry updates, the service name was updated from runtime ID to runtime name. This change was highly requested by customers for a more user-friendly and intuitive experience, but may require updates to your saved searches, alerts, and dashboards. You might choose to use the runtime name as its identifier, or you can use the existing runtime.id attribute.
プラットフォーム
We’ve rolled out several updates in this release, including a new AI-powered agent recipe, a refreshed two-factor authentication experience, enhancements to the Audit Log Query API, and expanded visibility into Boomi Connect usage. Details below.
新機能
- Audit Log AI Agent: A new AI Agent is now available on the Boomi Marketplace, connecting an AI agent to the Audit Log API through a reliable serverless middleware layer. It supports querying audit logs by date range and filters with pagination and activity summaries, creating and managing staging requests for large downloads, and detecting security anomalies such as privilege escalation, mass deletions, and data exfiltration.
- Modernized Two-Factor Authentication Experience: Updated the two-factor authentication experience on the Authentication page under Settings with a modernized interface. The redesigned page covers the full two-factor authentication lifecycle: viewing your current authentication method and status, changing your verification method between email and an authenticator app, reconfiguring an authenticator app on a new device, and turning two-factor authentication on or off for accounts where it isn’t required. This update preserves all existing two-factor authentication functionality, so no action is required on your part.
- Audit-Log Query Enhancements: The AuditLog Query API (REST and SOAP) now runs on an upgraded search engine, bringing:
- Full support for
QuerySort, honoring the requested sort field and direction acrossdate, userId,action, source, modifier, andlevel. - Seven new query operators:
LIKE,NOT_EQUALS,IS_NULL,IS_NOT_NULL,STARTS_WITH,IN, andNOT_IN. - More specific, actionable error messages to help you diagnose issues faster.
- Full support for
- More Reliable Cross-Origin Requests: Platform API endpoints no longer return duplicate headers for boomi.com origins, so browser requests are no longer blocked by CORS checks.
- Stronger Protection for Encrypted Connection Values: Custom connection encrypted values are now reliably preserved when saving or updating Environment Extensions on accounts using an external Secrets Manager with KMS support enabled.
- Licensing & Usage — Boomi Connect: We’ve added Boomi Connect as a selectable service on the Licensing & Usage page, giving you visibility into tool call consumption and connector usage alongside your other Boomi products. Refer to this Licensing & Usage documentation page to learn more.
B2B/EDI
The September 2026 B2B/EDI release brings JMS v2 into the Trading Partner framework as a new Communication Method, arriving in Tech Preview and continuing the unification of Trading Partner communication methods with the connector library used elsewhere in Boomi.
新機能
- JMS v2 in the Trading Partner Framework: JMS v2 is now available in Early Access as a Communication Method in the Trading Partner framework, following the SFTP unification that shipped in May. This is the first time JMS is supported within the Trading Partner framework, closing a connectivity gap for customers who rely on JMS-based messaging infrastructure such as IBM MQ or ActiveMQ for B2B document exchange.
接続性
This release introduces a new Microsoft SharePoint connector in GA, brings GraphQL to Early Access, expands OAuth support across Salesforce connectors, and delivers a range of fixes and enhancements across the broader connector ecosystem.
新機能
- Microsoft SharePoint connector is now GA. Built on the Microsoft Graph API, this connector integrates your applications directly with SharePoint Online.
- GraphQL connector with custom action support is now in Early Access. If you already have GraphQL APIs set up in Postman or similar tools, you can configure them directly in Boomi integration
- Atina JDE EnterpriseOne – Partner connector is now available for direct integration with JDE EnterpriseOne
Enhancements
- Salesforce REST: You can now set OAuth scopes directly on the Salesforce REST connection for both Authorization Code and Client Credentials grant types, giving you tighter control over exactly what each connection is authorized to do.
- Salesforce Platform Events: The connector now supports the Client Credentials grant type alongside Authorization Code, making it easier to authenticate machine-to-machine event flows without a user in the loop.
- Database connector now supports a new Execute Function operation for calling database functions that return scalar values
- Kafka and RabbitMQ have been updated to report live status on the listeners page.
- NetSuite REST SuiteQL operation is enhanced to support multi-table joins, parameterized filters, and aggregate functions
- The Oracle EBS connector now supports complex PL/SQL data types in REST_QUERY operations
Please refer to the release notes for more information on other connector enhancements and fixes.
イベントストリーム
The September 2026 Release adds new ways to consume Event Streams messages over HTTP, hardens subscription reliability with dead letter routing, and exposes more connector metadata to your Integration processes.
新機能
- REST endpoints for consuming messages: New HTTP endpoints let you poll Event Streams topics directly, consuming a single message at a time or retrieving multiple messages in a batch. Each message is automatically acknowledged as it’s consumed.
- Dead letter routing for Listen operations: Exclusive and Failover subscriptions using transacted acknowledgment can now enable dead letter routing, so a repeatedly failing message no longer blocks consumption of the rest of the messages on the topic or subscription. Once the retry limit is reached, failed messages are routed to the DLQ topic.
- New default Document Properties on the Event Streams connector: Topic, Subscription, and Subscription Type are now available as default Document Properties, so downstream process shapes can reference the actual runtime values without hardcoding them or passing them as message properties.
Fixes
- Reduced log noise: Fixed repeated FeatureNotSupportedException log entries in the Event Streams connector that started appearing after a recent connector upgrade.
管理型ファイル転送
The September 2026 releases focus on governance and security for file transfers. Business-context metadata can be attached to Flow Endpoints and tracked on every file in Activity, and MFT Runtime on Windows can actively scan transferred files with Microsoft Defender and report the outcome back to the control plane as a distinct status. A rebuilt Managed File Transfer connector for Integration processes, with batch, streaming, and Start Shape support, is coming in September
新機能
- Metadata tags on Flow Endpoints: Custom name/value tags, such as
partner=acme or dataclass=pii, can now be attached to any Flow Endpoint through the UI or the API. Tags are reported in Activity for every file, for both the source and the target endpoint. This allows naming conventions encoded into endpoint and file names to be replaced with real metadata: file transfer telemetry can be sliced by line of business, partner, region, or data sensitivity, and MFT activity can be correlated with CMDB, SIEM, or BI systems. - Antivirus scanning in MFT Runtime (Windows): MFT Runtime on Windows can now actively scan the files it transfers inside the customer network with Microsoft Defender. A file is not released to the target until the scan returns a clean result, and the outcome status is reported to the control plane: scan passed, virus detected with alert, or scan error. Similar to the cloud scan, the Runtime scan appears as a distinct step in File Activity, so security administrators get one central audit trail across cloud and runtime-based transfers, and can satisfy dual antivirus scanning requirements (border plus internal check). Scanning is configured centrally in the control plane, and includes a configurable retry policy with back-off for recoverable scanner errors.
- Managed File Transfer connector: A rebuilt Managed File Transfer connector for Boomi Integration will be released in September, replacing the one-file-at-a-time download behavior of the current connector. Multiple files are returned as separate documents in a single execution, so file batches can be downloaded without while loops on the canvas. The connector can be used as a Start Shape, which enables native Replay and Reprocess in Process Reporting for individual failed files. Transfers are streamed, so multi-gigabyte files are handled without out-of-memory errors. Authentication moves to OAuth2 client credentials, and credentials can be overridden per environment through Environment Extensions. File metadata is delivered as tracked document properties alongside the payload.
Data Hub
This release begins a refresh of the Data Hub interface, starting with the view of data stewards’ work in most. Quarantine has a new look that brings it in line with the rest of the Boomi platform, and it is the first of more pages to follow.
新機能
- A refreshed Quarantine page: The record table, filters, and record details panel have a cleaner layout, so you can scan a backlog, narrow it down, and resolve records with less clicking around. Everything works the way it did before.
- A consistent look across Data Hub: Quarantine is the first page updated to match the look and feel you already know from the rest of the Boomi platform, with more pages to follow in upcoming releases.
主な改善
- Golden records stay findable after an entity ID changes: Querying a model by a new entity ID now returns the golden record, rather than matching only the original ID.
- Purged records stay purged: Records purged while a sync was running could reappear once the sync finished. They no longer do.
- Reference search matches identifier-style titles: Records whose title is formatted like an identifier can now be found by searching that title, not only by their record ID.
- Steadier processing for early delta detection: Sources using the early delta detection process more reliably under load.
Early Access progress
Real-time outbound delivery continues to advance in Early Access. Topic naming is now consistent and predictable across all real-time channels, and the topic a channel publishes to is discoverable directly from the API, so consumers can subscribe programmatically instead of configuring it by hand. Real-time delivery is available to select customers. Join the Early Access program to take part.
データ連携
More ways to connect, more control over how you build.
This release adds new source connectors, stronger security options, and a big step toward an API-first platform.
新機能
- Oracle Wallet (TDE) support – Connect to Oracle databases encrypted with Transparent Data Encryption without weakening your security posture or building workarounds.
- API-first: full API coverage for data flows and sources – Every data flow and source is now reachable through the API, not just the UI. Build, trigger, and manage pipelines programmatically, or embed Data Integration into your own tooling.
- Boomi Companion for Data Integration – Boomi Companion, the AI agent skill that builds and manages Boomi work from your IDE, now supports Data Integration. Build and manage your data flows directly through Companion instead of the UI.
- Data Connector Agent – auto-fetch endpoints from a data source name – Data Connector Agent already lets you create custom connectors for any REST API. This release makes that even easier: enter a data source name, and Data Connector Agent searches the relevant docs and surfaces the available data ingestion endpoints for you to select from, no manual hunting through documentation.
Ready to try these out? Log in to Boomi Data Integration and start building.
Marketplace
This release introduces Solution Graphs to the Marketplace and adds new ways to discover and install Marketplace solutions from within Orchestrate.
新機能
- Solution Graph Preview: Marketplace Solution Details pages now show a read-only visual graph of a solution’s architecture so customers can understand how a solution works before installing it.
- Solution discovery, preview, and install in Orchestrate: Orchestrate can now consume Marketplace bundles and recipes to generate solution graphs, match business intent to Marketplace recipes, present ranked preview suggestions, and install solutions directly from the canvas — saved to your Workspace with a link back to the original Marketplace listing.
- Marketplace Installation History (released August 2026): You can now track the history of your Marketplace installations, including who installed each solution, when it was installed, and the assets included. View these details either by clicking the Installation History button on the All Solutions page or by checking the Installation History tab on the solution details page.
