CCL used point-to-point SQL scripts to get invoice and purchase order data from an Autotask IT service management application to its Microsoft Dynamics GP financials system.
But the integration required time-consuming monthly maintenance and troubleshooting by a specialist whose skills were also needed in other areas of the business — plus, the SQL scripts were struggling to keep up with the amount of data CCL now needed to process.

When CCL identified opportunities for internal improvement — in particular, integrating mission-critical data between core business systems — it turned to Boomi to replace its integration framework.

Since the integration went live in 2018, CCL has eliminated hours of manual maintenance and troubleshooting needed in its previous SQL scripts integration framework. The SQL specialist who oversaw that work is now able to focus on other areas of service improvement in the business.
