Why Connections Matter to Partners

When we’re evaluating the Boomi channel partner programs, one of our most important performance metrics is not the impact on our business. It’s the effect of Boomi on their businesses.

We’re incredibly proud that many of our global and regional system integrator partners have told us that Boomi helped them double and even triple their business over the past year. It’s also why I hear – time and time again: “You guys are a perfect partner. You’re especially good at this.”

Much of this stems simply from our attitude at Boomi and how we look at building the business. Our guiding principle has always been that everyone should thrive as we work together to solve the problems of our shared customers. We want our partners to succeed. Full stop. And now, as Boomi begins a new chapter as a standalone company, we’re dedicated to igniting even more opportunities and revenue streams for our partners.

However, there’s a world of difference between companies that claim they’re focused on channel partners and those rare organizations that actually live it. For the vast majority of vendors that I come in contact with, channel partnership efforts are superficial, at best. But at Boomi, they’ve always been the top priority.

So, why does Boomi have a reputation for being the best channel partner in the intelligent connectivity and automation space? It’s because we think differently about partnerships. When we talk about being empathetic, responsive, and genuinely interested in making channel partners successful, it’s more than words. There’s nothing quite like the Boomi partner ecosystem.

The numbers tell the story.

  • Boomi has cultivated a vast network of more than 800 partners worldwide across all channels who have an incredible wealth of knowledge. We especially work closely with system integrators – both SIs and GSIs – to create great outcomes. Boomi’s platform strategy aligns perfectly with their efforts to help clients quickly connect applications, automate processes, and build efficient workflows to meet and exceed their customers’ needs.
  • Partners touch nearly two-thirds of our Annual Contract Value (ACV). Perhaps they referred Boomi to their clients. Or maybe we recommended them to current Boomi customers for new projects because of their expertise with specific implementations. But in some way, partners are involved in a majority of our business. And they are key to delighting our shared end customers.
  • The overall growth in our ACV through channel partners is 20% year-over-year, and 50% with our Elite and Select partnership levels.

That’s why we say that Boomi and our channel partners are a better-together story. We play to each other’s strengths and provide a more complete solution. We see it as a common-sense approach to helping our mutual customers. We know that our partners have been instrumental in making Boomi the trendsetter in the integration market today. And that’s why our partners will continue to play a prominent role in our success as we move forward.

We work hard to ensure our partners know how to get the most from the Boomi platform and help them achieve their clients’ vision. But we also rely on their knowledge. Because they’re working with clients every day, partners provide invaluable feedback, whether informally or through our Partner Advisory Board. Their observations help us shape the platform’s direction and ensure we provide the services businesses need and expect.

These relationships are a win-win-win for our customers, partners, and Boomi.
