Head of AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 Office and Former Matilda

Sarah Walsh is a former Australian international athlete with 70 caps and 35 international goals for the Matildas. She has a decorated career including appearances in the 2004 Olympics and 2007 FIFA World Cup. She clinched victory at the 2010 Women’s Asian Cup.

Since then, Sarah has evolved into an accomplished sports executive, Logie-nominated commentator, and compelling public speaker. Her firsthand experience in high-performance sports has translated into advocating for pay equity and inclusion, spearheading innovation in governance and policy driving social change at all levels of football.

Notably, as Head of Women’s Football for Football Australia, she influenced the strategy that generated a staggering $389M for football’s World Cup leveraging strategy through government and commercial investment, with an additional $200M earmarked to improve community infrastructure for women and girls across all sports. As hosts of the most commercial FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Matildas shattered attendance and viewership records, drawing over 11 million viewers during the semi-final against England, making it the single highest rating TV program of all Time.

Recently ranked 22nd on News Corps’ list of 100 most influential women in sport, Sarah’s illustrious playing and professional career converge in this pivotal moment. Today she serves as the Head of AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Office at Football Australia, charged with delivering the most prominent Women’s Asian Football Tournament to our shores.

Arlen Shenkman

President

Arlen is a global technology executive with more than 25 years of experience leading high-growth businesses, driving financial and capital management strategies and business development, incubating new business models, and overseeing investments, and mergers and acquisitions at multi-billion dollar public enterprise software companies.

He formerly served as EVP and CFO of Citrix Systems, Inc., and prior to Citrix held multiple executive roles at SAP, including EVP and Global Head of Business Development and Ecosystems, CFO of SAP North America (SAP’s largest business unit), and Global Head of Corporate Development. He was a principal architect of SAP’s rapid transformation into a cloud company.

In his role at Boomi, Arlen oversees Finance, HR, IT, Legal and leads initiatives focused on operational excellence, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, board relations, and preparing Boomi for its next stage of growth.

Arlen has a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, an M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Washington University. He has also completed the London Business School’s Corporate Finance Program. A Philadelphia Business Journal 2024 Corporate Leadership Awards Honoree, Arlen serves on the Boards of Directors of Commvault [NASDAQ: CVLT] and AspenTech [NASDAQ: AZPN] and as a director on the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts board of trustees.

Ed Macosky

Chief Product and Technology Officer

Ed Macosky is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi (CPTO). He has more than 20 years of experience building high performing agile teams, designing and launching new software and service products, solution delivery and customer retention. Ed works to establish and execute Boomi’s product vision and roadmap – delivering an intelligent, flexible and scalable integration platform that accelerates business outcomes by making information, interactions and innovations flow faster.

Prior to joining Boomi in early 2019, Ed spent almost five years at Oracle, where he served as Vice President of Middleware/PaaS DevOps & Release Engineering. Prior to Oracle, he spent some time at Dell. In addition, starting in 2003, Ed spent more than seven years at Boomi during the formative years of the company.

Named one of the Top 25 Software Product Executives of 2022, Ed studied Information Technology at Penn State and holds two U.S. patents for integrating software systems.

David Irecki

Chief Technology Officer for APJ

David Irecki is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Asia Pacific / Japan (APJ) at Boomi, a category-leading, global software as a service (SaaS) company with more than 20,000 global customers and a worldwide network of 800 partners.

As CTO, David leads the region’s efforts in advocating and evangelising the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in business with intelligent integration and automation. He is instrumental in helping organisations across the APJ region thrive in the digital age and on their AI journeys.

David is an IT veteran with over 20 years of experience in the enterprise integration and embedded computing markets. David joined Boomi in June 2015 as the first Solutions Consultant in APJ. Prior to Boomi, David worked for MuleSoft, where he led the APJ Solutions Consulting team.

David is a graduate of New Zealand’s Massey University, majoring in Information Engineering.

Michael Bachman

Head of Research, Architecture, and AI Strategy, Boomi Innovation Group

Mike Bachman, affectionately dubbed “Bachman” by peers, is Boomi’s Head of Architecture and AI Strategy. With over two decades of expertise, he has assisted executives and their teams in overcoming complex obstacles through innovative tech solutions. Bachman’s background encompasses AI R&D, data pipeline development, infrastructure planning, application integration, performance analysis, and the exploration of nascent technologies.

Currently, he delves into pioneering and groundbreaking innovations, applying them to diverse use cases and patterns, ultimately crafting inventive problem-solving approaches. Bachman’s goals extend to aiding businesses in leveraging cutting-edge advancements for addressing social and environmental concerns. A published author, voracious learner, and technology philosopher, he revels in acquiring languages, indulging in literature, keeping active, tuning into podcasts, embarking on hikes, and savouring travel adventures. Spending quality time with his family is his priority.
