For almost four years now, I’ve had the pleasure of hosting the #CIOChat forum on Twitter and LinkedIn. Launched in 2006, the #CIOChat forum is one of the largest online forums for CIOs across the globe.
In recent #CIOChat discussions, this group of CIOs has been exploring the importance of establishing a strategy for enterprise architecture. Too often, IT architecture grows in fits and starts, accommodating this or that business requirement or department initiative.

Well, we’re not quite at a utopia yet. But we’re getting closer. There are a lot of contributing technologies helping move things forward. Bots are one of them.

Integration is the key topic for European companies, according to a recent Dell Boomi survey of more than 300 IT executives in the U.K., Germany and the Nordic nations of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Across Europe, all kinds of businesses recognize the vital and growing importance of integration for their applications and data.
The survey, conducted for Dell Boomi by the market research firm Vanson Bourne, shows that organizations across Europe believe that integration is a foundational element for building connected businesses.
