Novartis Uses Dell Boomi iPaaS to Phase out Integration Middleware and Expand Integration Capabilities, While Reducing Costs and Complexity
At Dell Boomi, we think integration Platform-as-a-Service
(iPaaS) has the power and capabilities to help customers reduce their
dependence on legacy middleware and benefit substantially through lowered operational
costs and drastically reduced complexity.
As an example, in 2012, Novartis did a strategic evaluation
of their middleware strategy which consisted of two traditional, full-featured,
on-premise solutions supporting over 140 active integrations. Both were proving
slow and expensive to develop and maintain, and the team was spending time and
resources on upgrades and maintenance rather than business value.
